May 19: Baha’is in Iran

This webinar examines the escalating human rights crisis in Iran, focusing on the systematic persecution of the Baha’i. Iran’s largest non-Muslim religious minority, Baha’is face religious persecution that impacts every facet of life, from education and employment to physical safety.

Speaker Tschika McBean Okosi, JD, LLM, Human Rights Officer for the Baha’is of the United States, will analyze institutionalized legal discrimination targeting Baha’is and the intersectional persecution of women and girls. She will discuss the role of the international legal community in seeking accountability and upholding human rights.
