Educate Others About Ecocide

Educate Others About Ecocide

Ecocide means killing one’s home – and that’s what we’re doing

We see it every day. Droughts, floods, fires, hurricanes, melting icecaps and rising seas, dead coral reefs and extinct animals and botanical species – we are killing our home.

There must be a global commitment to solve this global crisis.

Actions

1. Request a speaker to share information about this crime.

Arrange a speaker from our Speakers’ Bureau to give a program about ecocide to people in faith communities, non-profits, schools, etc. Request a speaker by completing this form.

When communities are engaging in climate mitigation efforts, we encourage the use of the word ‘ecocide’ to refer to significant and long-lasting environmental damage.
