External webinar, April 15: World Jewish Relief Archives

World Jewish Relief Archives

April 15, 2026, 6:00 pm CT / 7:00 pm ET

On Wednesday, April 15 at 7:00 pm ET – the evening after Yom HaShoah – World Jewish Relief USA will host a webinar highlighting the World Jewish Relief Archives, a remarkable collection of personal case files, letters, documents, and photos from Jews rescued from Nazi Europe.

Formerly known as the Central British Fund, World Jewish Relief was one of the principal Jewish organizations that rescued Jews from Nazi Europe. It played a pivotal role in the Kindertransport, helped tens of thousands escape persecution, and supported refugees as they rebuilt their lives. Today, their archives preserve these individual stories – and in some cases, contain information families did not know existed.

Their expert panel includes:

  • Paul Anticoni, Chief Executive of World Jewish Relief
  • Mona Golabek, acclaimed concert pianist and storyteller who uncovered deeply moving discoveries about her own family through these archives
  • Deborah Oppenheimer, Academy Award winning filmmaker (Into the Arms of Strangers: Stories of the Kindertransport)
